' Vivian thought as she pulled a swimsuit out of the closet she shared with her roommate. It was a gold, shimmery two piece that tied on the sides and would show enough skin to improve on her severely lacking tan. She grabbed a hair tie off of the dresser beside her bed, tossing her hair up in a careless pony tail before she started to disrobe. " Enjoy the show, fuckers." She looked up at the cameras in the room as she unbuttoned her pants, sighing. She knew she should have been a little more modest about undressing in front of the cameras, but she didn't really care who saw her naked any more. After all, that's why Vivian ended up at Eden in the first place. Vivian blew her bangs out of her face, tying the sides of her bikini bottoms tighter so they wouldn't fall while she took a dip. Picking up her half-finished book, ' Pride and Prejudice,' she slid on a pair of flip flops and made her way downstairs. The outside air was warm and had lately started to carry some of the smell that Fall was approaching upon the castle. Vivian would guess that in the coming weeks, it would get colder. Not that it mattered right now, all she cared about was that someone had recently cleaned the pool! She grinned from ear to ear as she ran down the steps, looking to the luxurious pool and exhaled heavily. The sun warmed her air conditioned skin, bringing a calm to the uptight aristocrat. ' Or former aristocrat.' An indignant snort escaped Vivian's lips at the thought. Laying out her towel beside the pool, Vivian pulled the hair tie out of her hair and sat down, placing her feet into the crystal blue water. She leaned back on her elbows, scooping water on her legs with her feet. If it wasn't for the fact there were murderers, addicts and thieves inside the walls of Eden, Vivian would have sworn that this place was one of her families vacation locations. Finally content that her skin was damp enough to cool off, Vivian laid on her stomach and pulled out her book. The sun continued to warm her skin, so much so that she could almost feel her body becoming more tan. A smile lingered on her lips and her legs crossed at the ankles in the air. Vivian felt her eyes slowly growing heavier and heavier, leaving her to debate if she could get away with a short nap. " Mmm, I doubt anything will happen if I doze off for a few minutes." Vivian spoke, closing her book and stretching her arms out in front of her. VIOLA
When the curtain's call Is the last of all When the light fades out All the sinners crawl ---------------------------------------------------- The fact that there was a swimming pool in the place had really surprised Viola. She hadn't been expecting such a luxury. But, then again, this place was rather nice. Maybe not as hellish as she had thought. It was even starting to grow on her... have no doubt, she wanted to get out, but still. It wasn't so bad. The only problem was that her brother wasn't there. Viola was used to having her brother at her side, so the fact that he wasn't around had made her rather lonely. Most people thought Viola liked being alone. And she did, to an extent. But the absence of her brother had really left her only one option in this place; socializing. Yes, she would have to get to know some of the fellow inhabitants here. In all honesty, Viola wasn't really sure how to go about this, as she didn't normally approach someone to get to know them. This was an entirely new thing for Viola. But she had to try. She had to. And the pool was a great place to meet others. Right?
So Viola made her way through the halls and the garden to the pool, equipped with a pen, pencil, and her sketchbook. She was wearing a bathing suit, just in case she would end up swimming, though she thought it unlikely. She was wearing a tank and shorts over top. Her bracelet that she had been given by her mother on her sixteenth birthday jingled at each step, giving away her position. She didn't wear the bracelet very often because of this noise, as it drew a small degree of attention towards her. But perhaps it would help her make... acquaintances.
Her doe brown eyes widened at her first sight of the pool. It was much better than the simple neighborhood pool, and even the city pool, that she was accustom to. Did all pools look like this? She hadn't seen many, so she wasn't all that sure. After all, Viola was easily impressed by architecture, given that she had lived pretty much in the middle of no where most of her life, only living in a city when she moved in with her father and Anna, and even then being in a small city. When she had first arrived here she was wowed by how beautiful it was, despite her situation. She could see only one person there at the time, a girl. Viola took a breath, then pushed open the gate and entered the pool area. She was immediately comforted with a problem. Should she sit right next to the girl, or a bit away? Viola bit her lip, thinking, before finally just giving herself a little push and taking a seat next to her. She laid out her towel and sat with he legs crossed. She turned to look at the girl, who was apparently deep into reading her book. She opened her mouth, looking like she was about to say something, before drawing back and turning her head so she was looking away from the girl.
She opened up her sketch book and began drawing over her pencilled sketch in pen, carefully drawing over the lines to make them black instead of a dull silver. She occasionally glanced at the girl, but didn't dare make any move to converse. Just as she finished the branch of the drawing-it was a drawing of a bird of a branch, something she had been working on for quite a while- she heard the girl move, and turned. The girl had closed her book, and Viola caught a glimpse of what she was reading. She recognized it instantly, having read it before. The girl had also said something, but Viola hadn't heard it. After debating for a fraction of a second, she finally blurted out the first thing that came to mind, "That's a good book you're reading." she commented, her voice quiet and barely above a whisper. Viola wasn't a loud girl; on the contrary, it was quiet as a mouse, so this was normal for her. As soon as she spoke, she wished she hadn't. How would this girl react? A strand of white hair fell from it's place behind her ear, and she nervously pushed it back.
